{"id":6,"date":"2009-03-12T16:52:56","date_gmt":"2009-03-12T21:52:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hmuljadi.com\/blog\/?p=6"},"modified":"2009-03-13T15:33:48","modified_gmt":"2009-03-13T20:33:48","slug":"hmuljadicom-got-a-new-makeover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hmuljadi.com\/blog\/design_inspiration\/hmuljadicom-got-a-new-makeover\/","title":{"rendered":"hmuljadi.com got a makeover!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10 aligncenter\" title=\"makeover\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hmuljadi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/693779_75065407.jpg\" alt=\"redesign\" width=\"516\" height=\"385\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today will mark the third redesign for my personal website.\u00a0 I think this time around I&#8217;m very close to getting where I wanted.<\/p>\n<p>When I got the site, I wanted a way to showcase the work I&#8217;ve done in the past as well as provide a really seamless experience for whoever is checking this site out.\u00a0 My old design had a few pages &#8211; About Me, Portfolio, Contact Page, and a little snippet of digg feeds of articles I recently dugg &#8211; but I felt like some of the content there was forced just to fill up the space.\u00a0 I thought a redesign was in order.<\/p>\n<p>This new design now incorporates a one-page homepage that displays everything I wanted to share and a really easy way to go through the portfolio items.\u00a0 The last two designs were also dark and grungy, so I wanted to try something light.<\/p>\n<p>From start to finish, it took me about a week to complete:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 day for gathering requirements<\/li>\n<li>2 days of wireframing<\/li>\n<li>3 days of mocking up the design<\/li>\n<li>1 day for programming the HTML\/CSS\/JavaScript<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are still some kinks to work out (i.e. the portfolio accordion section doesn&#8217;t animate as smooth as it should), but overall I&#8217;m pretty happy with it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you think about the new hmuljadi.com?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"fblikebutton_button\" style=\"\"><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fhmuljadi.com%2Fblog%2Fdesign_inspiration%2Fhmuljadicom-got-a-new-makeover%2F&amp;layout=standard&amp;show-faces=true&amp;width=450&amp;action=like&amp;colorscheme=light\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" style=\"border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:26px\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today will mark the third redesign for my personal website.
